Omar Abdullah requests MEA to help a Kashmiri family to transport body of engineer

In a tragic incident a Kashmiri engineer passed away in Saudi Arabia and now his family is trying to get back the body and former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Monday requested MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) to help his family in this hour of grief.

Omar Abdullah took to twitter to request MEA and said, “Request the Ministry of External Affairs to coordinate with Saudi authorities and help expedite the return of the body of Mustakeen Ahmad Pandit, 26-year-old Kashmiri engineer from Kulgam who passed away in Saudi Arabia yesterday”.

According to KNT in its news report on the death of this engineer it has said in the report as follows.

Mustakeen Ahmad Pandit (26), son of Nazir Ahmad Pandit from Yaripora Kulgam died in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The young man was working at ‘Al-Yamama’ Company, in Riyadh Saudi Arabia as an Engineer and reportedly died of a heart attack.

After the family of the deceased requested LG Manoj Sinha and MEA to facilitate the transportation of the body, the former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah requested the same to authorities.
