Kangris the local fire pots are in great demand as the severe winter period has started in Kashmir valley. Kangris are still the best tool to fight the cold especially during the sub zero temperatures.

Not only people are purchasing the new Kangris but they are also going for the repairs of the old Kangris. Many of the people who work on the Kangris in the villages usually come to Srinagar during these months in order to set right the old Kangris as they have this unique skill.
