Government to monitor attendance in civil secretariat

A team of officers have been nominated to monitor the attendance of employees working in different wings of the government in the civil secretariats of Jammu and Srinagar.
This decision was taken on Tuesday as a government ordered a team of officers to monitor the attendance of the employees working in various departments of the Civil Secretariat, Jammu and Srinagar.
According to the government order quoted by different media organizations the team has been given powers to report the unauthorized absence of employees to the higher ups in the administration.
The order said, “The team shall conduct random surprise checks of all departments and report unauthorized absence of employees to the General Administration Department for appropriate disciplinary action”.
