Less than seven per cent voting recorded in Kulgam till 1pm
Srinagar : Less than seven per cent voting is reported till 1pm in four constituencies of Kulgam district for Anantnag Lok Sabha, an official said.
Clashes were reported at many places in the district amid mild response from voters.
The voting in the second leg of the three-phased schedule for the Lok Sabha seat would decide the fate of 18 candidates, including former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti.
The overall poll percentage in district Kulgam at 1.00 pm was 6.67 per cent, the officials said.
They said the polling so far has been peaceful in the militancy-hit district in the restive south Kashmir.
Polling to remain continue till 4 pm.
