Overcast conditions in valley improves night temperature.

A fresh Western Disturbance (WD) hit the region which resulted in major improvement in the temperature during night due to overcast conditions though the mercury was still above normal in the Kashmir Valley.

People in Ladakh region continued to shiver after the minimum temperature witnessed further drop and settled at minus 16 degrees Celsius, while it was minus 12.
3 degrees at Leh.

The weather will remain dry in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours which will follow scattered or widespread rain and snow during subsequent two days, a Met department spokesman told UNI Saturday afternoon.
