Kund opeartion on three militants arrested so far
IGP Kashmir range Muneer Khan told VOV that army and state police in the ongoing operation in the forests of Kund forests of Qazi Gund in Soth Kashmir have arrested 3 militants so far. He said that the operation will continue as they have credible information that four more militants were hiding in the forests.
Army and security forces along with state police started a massive search operation in Hallan-Kund forest area on November 14 and on the very first day of the searches a militant and a army jawan were killed.
Police has identified the arrested militants as Atta Mohammed Malik, Shams ul Wiqar and Bilal Ahmad Sheikh. Police said that they arrested Atta in an injured condition as he had received bullet injuries earlier in the encounter on November 14.
