PSA slapped on Anantnag youth shifted to Jammu jail.

A 26-year-old youth from Anantnag district of south Kashmir has been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) and shifted to a jail in Jammu.

Irfan Amad Khan, 26, son of Bashir Ahmad Khan of Lazibal locality of Islamabad (Anantnag) town was arrested on July 1 for participating in protests.

He was kept under detention in police station saddar Anantnag for various charges and after being bailed out he has now been slapped with the PSA and shifted to Kathau jail in Jammu.

This is the second consecutive PSA on Khan in one –and-a-half-year period.

In December- 2015, Khan was booked under the act. He has served seven-month detention in district jail Anantang.
