Scores of families thrashed in Turkwangan village of Shopian
SOG wing of jandk police and security forces have allegedly during midnight raid in turkiwangan village of Shopian thrashed scores of families including women and children alleged the villagers.
The villagers told local news agencies that during intervening night of Friday and Saturday SOG men went berserk and dragged even women out of beds.they said that dozens of villagers received injuries and many of them were hospitalised.
Turkiwangan village received thrashing from army and security forces after the youth of village recently celebrated Pakistani win in the cricket match with England.
Latest reports from the area said that people were protesting against the midnight thrashing by SOG while the district authorities told vov that they will get the report and can comment only after getting facts of the incident.
