When Darbar moves to Srinagar, it would be a challenge.

Srinagar: The bi-annual Darbar move will start functioning from Srinagar as it will get closed on April 28.As the Government will reach Srinagar it will be a huge challenge to face the problems and protests across Kashmir. Already security situation has shown further dip after that Srinagar Parliament Polls. More and more peaceful areas like Ganderbal, Chadoora and many villages in Budgam District have witnessed huge surge in violence.

Due to the recent killings by the security forces, more and more areas in the valley are coming under the impact of protests. As the Darbar will open in Srinagar, PDP-BJP coalition Government is already facing challenges on many fronts including from the opposition parties. Congress Candidate from Anantnag Gulam Ahmed Mir has already demanded Governors’ rule for the conductions of elections in Anantnag Parliamentary segment. Main opposition party National Conferece has already asked Mehbooba Mufti To step Down as they claim that she has lost moral right to rule J&K State.

All Departments have been asked to depute their advance parties on 24th April, 2017 consisting of one Gazetted Officer and four to five Non- Gazetted employees who will receive the records at Srinagar. The departments shall ensure that boxes are properly locked and their keys reach the advance parties at Srinagar well in time. The SP Security, Civil Secretariat will furnish a list of defaulting departments in this regard to the General Administration Department.
