Infiltration bid foiled in Uri sector
Baramulla 10 May 2017: Alert troops of Indian army foiled an infiltration bid during night hours at Torna village of Uri sector along Line of Control in north Kashmir. The Army soldiers recovered three pithu bags from the spot. The troops have increased vigil along LoC and searches have been intensified.

Local army officer killed in Shopian
Reports from Shopian said that a local army officer of the rank of leutinent was found killed. Police said that the local officer from Kulgam has gone to attend marriage ceremony of a relative in Shopian. Police has started investigation.
First coaching camp of under 17
