After boycott government allows cameras to assembly
Latest news from the assembly said that authorities have lifted the restrictions on media to cover the session on GST. The ban on media was lifted after the boycott by journalists and protests by opposition parties leading to adjournment of the session.
Police foil traders sit in outside assembly
Police on tuesday thrashed many traders and arrested them when they tried to organise sit in outside the assembly to protest GST implementation here. Witnesses said that police bundled all trade union members into their vehicles and lodged them in police stations. Earlier in the morning trade leaders were arrested including their head Yasin Khan.
Assembly adjourned on media Gag
The speaker was forced to adjourn the special session on GST after opposition protested against the media gag.the opposition members were rasing salogens against state government and accused them to be dalaals of Delhi. Opposition members said that they will not allow the central government to trample internal autonomy of the state.
Media boycott black flags as GST session starts
Entire media fatrenity has boycotted the special session on GST on tuesday morning. Reports said that after the speaker has disallowed the electronic media to cover the print media fatrenity also decided to boycott the session. Reports said that opposition parties waved black flags and said that the coalition government has declared emergency in kashmir.
