Authorities have decided late night on monday to suspend class work in MP higher secondary school and Gandhi college for tuesday October 3.authorities did not spell out the reason but said that decision was taken as a precautionary measure to avoid protests and violence in downtown area of srinagar.

Cop killed at Padghampora
Jammu and Kashmir Police cop who was presently working as Munshi at police station Awantipora was killed by suspected militants monday evening, reports said. Identified as Ashiq Hussain, the cop was killed and police has started investigation. more details are awaited.
