Srinagar,: Two militants were on Tuesday killed in an ongoing gunfight in Tujar Shareef area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Army’s Srinagar based spokesman Rajesh Kalia told KNS “two militants have been killed and the search operations are continuing in the area.” (KNS)

In wee hours of Sunday government forces have started searches and it resulted in a gunfight at Aripal area of Tral in south kashmir. Reports said that encounter was going on and additional troops were being deployed in outer space of search operation. More details are awaited.
