CBI raids NDTV Co founder Prannoy Roy
CBI has raided the residence of prominent TV channel owner Prannoy Roy on monday in connection with bank loan default case. The CBI raid has invited wide spread condemnation of the raid as many writers and social activists have dubbed it as an attempt to silence all voices of opposition to Modi government.
22 killed many injured in UP mishap
At least 22 persons were killed and many more were injured in a tragic mishap in Bareley when a passanger bus collided on the roadside. Police told news agencies that all the injured were taken to hospital on monday.

Four militants killed in Sumbul camp attack
State DGP S P Vaid has tweeted about the killing of four militants when they tried to attack the CRPF camp at Sumbul in Bandipura district. He has also tweeted the pics of weapons and ammunition recovered from the slain militants. Police said that all the four were foreign militants.
