Reports from Ramban said that sudden landslides blocked srinagar jammu highway for hours on Wednesday. Reports further said that in swift joint action different wings of the government cleared the block in few hours. although the state is witnessing dry weather but the landslides at Ramban were sudden.

Reports from sopore said that on Wednesday morning a speedy passenger vehicle crushed to death an old person who was walking on road at Botengo on sopore Bandipora road. Police said that 70 year old Ghulam Mohammad Bhobi died on spot and added that he was resident of Botengo village.
