Awareness campaign
In every district of Jammu and Kashmir awareness campaign is being intensified by the officials.
Recently District Administration Udhampur, under the supervision of District Election Officer and Deputy District Election Officer Dr. conducted series of voters awareness initiatives across numerous educational and community institutions under the aegis of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign.
Among others present were Senior Superintendent of Police, Joginder Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Umesh Shan; Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Ranjeet Singh Kotwal and other officers.
The SVEEP Cell of District Election office coordinated several activities, including a vibrant Rangoli-making contest for students from Government Higher Secondary School Krimchi and Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School at DC Office Complex.
District Election Officer, commended the innovative efforts of the SVEEP Cell and students in creating colourful Rangolis to raise awareness about voting rights. She emphasized on the importance of students’ involvement in activities aimed at promoting voter participation.
