Recently Secretary Health visited GMC Anantnag; assesses healthcare services, seeks feedback from patients.
He had an extensive round of all the wards of the hospitals to take stock of the diagnostic and treatment facilities being made available to the patients in these healthcare institutes. He also interacted with the patients and their attendants seeking feedback on status of the medical services being provided to them.
Deputy Commissioner, S F Hamid and Director Health Services, Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather besides other senior officers accompanied the Secretary.
During the visit, the Secretary assessed the current state of healthcare infrastructure and services at GMC Anantnag, focusing on patient care, infrastructure, medical equipment and overall operational efficiency of the hospital.
Interacting with the doctors and other staff, Dr. Abid Rasheed exhorted upon them to ensure that their medical facilities meet the highest standards and we are able to provide effective healthcare services to the community. He emphasized upon the doctors to commit them towards enhancing the quality of medical services in the hospital. He called upon the medical professionals to conduct through rounds in the hospital for efficient management of patients.
He conducted round of the hospital visiting the patient wards, emergency wards, MRI lab, radiation oncology lab and other related infrastructure to assess each facility systematically.
