High level security meet held to counter any move for breach of peace in Kashmir

A high level meeting of security apparatus was held in Srinagar in order to understand the impact of Middle East crisis and its impact on the ground.
In a brain storming session, security and intelligence officers talked in length about the strategies to be devised to maintain peace.
It was decided that infiltration attempts from across the border could increase as there would be attempts to push infiltrators before the snowfall will block all such possibilities.
Meanwhile according to news agenices “Shri RR Bhatnagar, Advisor to Hon’ble LG of J&K and #LtGenUpendraDwivedi, #ArmyCdrNC chaired a multi-agency ‘Joint Security Review Meeting’ at BB Cantt, #Srinagar today,” army posted on X.
Officials said that security situation was reviewed in the backdrop of the Middle East conflict and a strategy to strengthen the counter terrorism grid in the winter season was also discussed.
“DGP J&K and #ChinarCorps Cdr along with heads of Intelligence Agencies & Security Forces representatives from UT were in attendance,” said a Chinar Corps spokesperson on X (formerly Twitter).
“The security situation was reviewed in the backdrop of the Middle East conflict and actions to enhance the CI/CT Grid in the approaching winter season were discussed and deliberated on,” he added.
