Unscheduled power cuts irk people in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir

In this month of October, common people have expressed their anger over the unscheduled power cuts which are adding to their hardships while dealing with their lives.
In Kashmir valley most of the areas have witnessed unscheduled power cuts which are making people angry as they fear that in the winter season there would be more such power cuts.
Common people were expecting relief from such power cuts as the government has already increased power tariffs and have renewed old agreements with the higher rates.
People of Srinagar have been demanding a promised round the clock electricity services when the power tariffs would be increased by the government.
Many regional political parties including NC and PDP have expressed their concern over the erratic power supply in Kashmir division and have appealed to the government to curtail such unscheduled power cuts.
