Police arrest ten persons for the attept to breach peace at Jamia Masjid

J&K Police on Saturday said that after the technical intelligence they were able to zero in on 10 people who were trying to breach the peaceful atmosphere at Jamia Masjid Srinagar on Friday.
It is in place to mention that Mirwaiz Umer Farooq led the Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid on Friday after four years and the prayers were held peacefully.
The Srinagar Police while informing via micro blogging X wrote, “10 Hooligans arrested for trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere outside Jamia Masjid Yesterday after Friday prayers. They shall be booked under relevant sections of law. Public is requested not to indulge in such acts failing which law will take its own course”.
