Div Com expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conclusion of Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid

Talking to media Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Friday said that due to the public support and cooperation Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar concluded peacefully led by Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
He said that it is the reflection of the growing peaceful atmosphere in Srinagar city and other parts of Kashmir valley.
He lauded the public support and the work of agencies including police for making this happen in Downtown Srinagar.
It is in place to mention that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq led the Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar after about four years.
