There is positive change and assembly elections would be held in J&K says Manoj Sinha

Claiming that there is a positive change in the lives of ordinary people across Jammu and Kashmir, LG Manoj Sinha has linked it with the abrogation of article 370.
In an interview with Indian Express he has said that common people in J&K are living lives without any fear to their own wishes.
He has said in the interview there have been no shutdowns and it is having a positive impact on the educational institutions especially in Kashmir valley.
He talked in detail about the developmental scenario of Jammu and Kashmir especially the smart city projects of Jammu and Srinagar.
He has said that after the public areas in Srinagar were recently renovated under Srinagar smart city projects, it has encouraged local youth to enjoy late night outs at Polo view market and Jhelum river front.
“The dreams of the youth of Kashmir have got wings now and in the days to come, their contribution to nation-building will not be less than anyone,” Sinha said in the interview to Indian Express.
He said that there are MPs from Jammu and Kashmir and a complete three tier panchayati raj system. When asked about the political vacuum he said that assembly elections would be held as promised by the central government and statehood would also be restored at the appropriate time.
