Central government and J&K administration has a special focus on skill development and lot of funds are being spend to complete the different works in Polytechnics, ITIs.
Principal Secretary SDD reviews progress on works under Capex Budget
Recently the Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department (SDD), chaired a meeting at Civil Secretariat here to review status of development works and re-appropriation of funds under Capex Budget 2022-23.
The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer, R&B, Kashmir, Special Secretary SDD and other officers. Chief Engineer, R&B, Jammu, Director Skill Development Department, concerned.
Principals and Superintendents of Government Polytechnics and ITIs of Jammu/Kashmir attended the meeting through video conferencing.
He sought details from the concerned officers about the latest details both in terms of physical and financial reports of various ongoing works in different Polytechnics/ITIs of Jammu and Kashmir.
He asked the officers to accelerate the pace of progress on works to ensure their timely completion with full utilization of funds earmarked under Capex Budget 2022-23. He also asked the concerned to submit the proposal for re-appropriation of funds in respect of the works as per the instructions of the Finance Department.
