Residents of Checkpora wussan demand macdamization, repair of drainage system

Residents of Checkpora wussan area of Kangan in Ganderbal District are up in arms against R&B department for failing to mecadamise the road in the area and repair the drainage system
Local residents said that 1 kilometer long link road which connects several villages is completely dilapidated and the concern authorities have been turning a blind eye towards it and have not taken any development works or resurfacing of the road in the area, resulting the population of thousands of people are facing hardships.
Local panch said that despite being just 6 kms away from the Subdivision Kangan our area is being ignored.
The pedestrians and commuters in our area are facing huge inconvenience. During rains, there is water lodging and it is difficult to move out,he added
The residents also said that that they reached out to officials from R&B department who said they will fix the road but Concerned officials are not paying heed while we are suffering.
The people have to undergo a lot trouble and in case of any health emergency or maternity cases they suffer a lot.
Residents appealed,LG Adminstration and DC Ganderbal to look into matter.
