Cloudy weather conditions, rains predicted in Kashmir

After the brief sunshine and rising temperatures, the weatherman has again predicted cloudy weather conditions, widespread rains and thunderstorms at certain places in Jammu and Kashmir.
Rains have been lashing Jammu and Kashmir in this month of August, triggering flash floods in many areas of Jammu division. At Batote on the Srinagar-Jammu highway heavy rains were witnessed during the previous night while as Kashmir valley Gulmarg witnessed widespread rains.
In the Srinagar city by and large the weather remains dry and on Thursday there is a bright sunshine after the previous wet weather conditions.
