Rains lash Jammu, cloudy weather in Kashmir

Heavy rains lashed Jammu right from the morning while moderate rains were witnessed in many areas of the Jammu region. There have been rains witnessed in Jammu on Sunday also and the heavy downpour has created flood like situation in small nallahs.
Water logging was being reported in many low lying areas of Jammu division as the moderate rains continued to lash Jammu on Monday afternoon.
In Kashmir valley cloudy weather conditions prevailed right from the morning of the Monday and light rains were witnessed at some places in the afternoon of Monday.
Cloudy weather conditions have brought both night and day temperatures down in Kashmir valley and in the month of July there have been many spells of wet weather in Kashmir valley.
Due to the erratic weather conditions, Srinagar-Jammu highway remained disrupted for days together in this month of July as landslides closed the highway many times in the Ramban sector.
