After her announcement that she is going to visit Budgam district, especially the Sheikh Pora Colony of Kashmiri Pandit, on Friday she claimed that she has been placed under house arrest at her residence in Srinagar.
The government is already busy in tackling the situation as the Kashmiri Pandits took to streets on Friday also forcing police to do some action.
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti took to twitter on Friday and said, “Wanted to visit Budgam to express my solidarity with Kashmiri pandits protesting against GOIs failure to protect them. Have been put under house arrest as the fact that Kashmiri muslims & pandits empathise with each other’s pain doesn’t fit into their vicious communal narrative.”
