There is no respite immediately available to the people of Jammu and Kashmir as the predictions of MeT say so. There is rise in temperatures both day and night in the entire Jammu and Kashmir; however Kashmir is a cooler place as compared to the rising temperatures in North India and in the winter capital of Jammu.
Dry weather conditions and rising temperatures have forced people to look for ice creams and juices in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir.
In most of the water bodies there is a huge rush of young boys to go swimming in order to beat the heat. The MeT department has predicted that there could be light rains in some isolated places of Kashmir valley and has said that the weather will remain hot and dry after such showers for next few days.
