CRPF directs its jawans to be ready for yatra

CRPF and other paramilitary forces have asked their jawans to be alert while performing their duties during the coming Amarnath Yatra this season.

Central government and the J&K administration are expecting more than 8 lac yatries during the coming yatra to come in Kashmir valley.

The Amarnath Yatra is going to start from June 30 this year and is going to remain for 43 days. Central government has already held a series of high level security meetings in order to make the arrangements for the yatra to be incident free.

Lot of modern equipment including CCTV cameras, drones has been put into practice for the coming Amarnath Yatra to remain peaceful.

This yatra is going to be conducted after the disruption of this annual pilgrimage for several years due to August 5, 2019 security build up followed by two years pandemic disruption.

Already Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing unprecedented tourist rush as record breaking tourism is being witnessed in Kashmir valley. From the month of June the government is expecting not only Amarnath Yatris but also the tourists in large numbers as the valley has remained peaceful so far.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made to keep Kashmir valley ready to host tourists and the Amarnath Yatris during the current season.
