In Downtown Srinagar due to the covid restrictions most of shrines including Khanqah Maula remained closed. Now in this Holy month of Ramzan apart from being open for the prayers, during the day time many elderly people sit in isolation inside the shrine to recite Holy Quran.

Khanqah Maula has been the center of prayers and meditation for hundreds of years and now with lifting of restrictions people especially the elderly people are coming after the prayer time inside the shrine to recite Holy Quran.

All the shrines and masjids of Kashmir valley have been conducting five times prayers and Taraweeh during the current Holy month of Ramzan.
