PDP has blamed the central government especially Prime Minister and Home Minster for spreading communal hatred by Kashmir Files as they have promoted this film which is based on fiction and has no truth in it.

Earlier also most of the Kashmiri leadership including Omar Abdullah and Sajad Gani Lone have blamed the makers of Kashmir Files for trying to spread communal poison and have even said that it can endanger the lives of thousands of students from Kashmir who are studying in different parts of the country.

PDP General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Hanjura has said that the BJP government at the centre is using the propaganda unleashed by the fiction of Kashmir files to create hatred for minorities and consolidate their vote banks.

He was speaking at Ganderbal on Thursday in connection with a public outreach program of his party PDP with their workers. He said that Kashmir Files is without any reality and is a fiction only to promote hatred.

When he was asked by the reporter about the statement of than National Conference General Secretary Dr. Mustafa Kamal that in early 90s late Mufti Muhammad Syed as Home Minister was watching the killings of Kashmiri Muslims he refused to comment on it saying that PDP was formed only in 1999.
