Drug menace raises ugly head in entire Kashmir, many struggling to recover

While the drug menace is spreading in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir, many of the youth are trying to recover from this drag net by getting the medicines and treatment at many de-addiction centers.
Youth of Kashmir are being pushed into drug addiction and many of them are struggling to recover at the de-addiction centre of SMHS hospital.
Talking to Voice of Valley, many of these brave youth who are trying to come out from this web of death have appealed to other youth to shun this path and come to the de-addiction centre to get recovered.
They said that they are getting good treatment along with medicines from this centre and are recovering. Many of them during the recovery have made placards for the encouragement of other youth to shun this path.
One of them while talking to Voice of Valley said that he was doing it continuously for 3 years and finally he came to know through his friends that medicines were available at the de-addiction centre and is now recovering. Narrating his ordeal he said that he used to get it from many sources and they used to sell them at Rs 5000 a gram of heroin.
