Government to construct flyover in Ganderbal to overcome traffic mess

The long pending problem in the Ganderbal district about the traffic mess would be resolved soon as the government of Jammu and Kashmir is going to start the work on a massive flyover which would be constructed from 90 FT road up to Wayil Bridge.

It was disclosed by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P.K Pole who was on a visit to Fatehpur in Ganderbal district and said that the DPR is ready for the flyover and very soon the tendering process would be completed.

He said Ganderbal to be the most beautiful town, blacktopping of roads to start in April this year which will give people relief while travelling on these roads.

He said that the government is aware of the problems being faced by the people of Ganderbal and assured them that in the current year they will see a visible change in the developmental scenario as the work would be started very soon on different developmental projects.

He said that solid waste management would be done on the scientific lines and the district would be polythene free. While interacting with the locals he said that it would be the effort of the administration to make the Ganderbal town one of the beautiful towns of Kashmir valley.
