International Women’s Day Celebrated at SAKHI- One Stop Centre, Ganderbal

International Women’s day, week was celebrated at SAKHI- One Stop Centre, Ganderbal with an aim to focus on the state of women when it comes to gender equality, bias, stereotypes and discrimination. The event was held in collaboration with District Administration Ganderbal, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ganderbal, Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK), Ganderbal, and National Commission for Women.
Women with disabilities also participated in the celebration and shared their experiences and achievements. Further all the participants shared their views on how to spread the message of gender equality and work together in making a better society where there is no gender bias.
