In a tragic mishap two brothers die in Ganderbal

In a tragic incident on Tuesday, two brothers including a minor died when their tractor met with an accident in Ganderbal. Residents of Shallabugh Rakh of Ganderbal, both the brothers died as they were seated together in the tractor.

According to the locals, Rameez Ahmed Dar was driving a tractor himself while his 9-year-old minor brother Sahil Ahmed Dar was seated next to him when the tractor met the accident.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that 19-year-old Rameez Ahmed Dar was driving a tractor himself while his 9-year-old minor brother Sahil Ahmed Dar was seated next to him.

A loaded trolley was attached to the tractor. Rameez (driver) lost control over the tractor near Sama Mohallah Shallabugh area falling under the jurisdiction of Khir Bhawani Police Station. It skidded off the road and fell from a height, leaving both the brothers critically injured.

Some locals, after witnessing the occurrence, dragged them out, taking both to nearby Pirpora Primary Health Centre where doctors referred them to District Hospital Ganderbal.

Both the brothers succumbed in the hospital.

The tractor has suffered damage in the accident.
