Ganderbal videographers stage protest for nonpayment of their duties

Several videographers of Ganderbal district staged a protest in the premises of Mini Secretariat as they were demanding the payment which is long pending with the Deputy Commissioner Office of Ganderbal.
Speaking to the media they said that they were hired by the government and were promised the payment but even after one year they have yet to receive the payment while appealing them to release the amount without any further delay.
These videographers said that the authorities hired them as professionals for the videography of BDC elections and panchayat elections and were promised that the payment would be done soon after the elections were over.
They have appealed Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal to look into this matter and pass the orders for the immediate release of their dues as they have been coming to Mini Secretariat from the past one year for this payment.
