The government of Jammu and Kashmir is in the process of preparing for the resources in the health infrastructure so that there are no loopholes left to deal with the patients as the Omicron variant infection is spreading.

Recently LG Manoj Sinha held a review meeting in order to get the feedback about the gearing up of health infrastructure and the preparations of district heads to implement CAB on the ground.

In the meeting he issued directions to Directors of Health Services Jammu, and Kashmir to conduct a meticulous mock-drill for preparing their resources to deal with any emergent situation.

He asked the Deputy Commissioners and CMOs to submit a joint report enlisting the steps of preparation and status of health infra and human resources in their respective districts to effectively deal with any emergent situation.

He congratulated people of Anantnag and Budgam for completing 100% coverage of 2nd dose of Covid vaccine.

In the other districts of Jammu and Kashmir, the administration is busy in achieving the target of 100% coverage for the second dose of vaccine while as already they have started the process to vaccinate all the youth in the age group of 15-18 years

Governemnt officials gave a detailed briefing on the analysis of Covid-19 situation, District-wise threat level, testing, contact tracing and vaccination across the UT, besides vaccine stock, and preparations for administering vaccine to 15-18 age groups.
