Facility at Chanapora performing effectively amidst Covid-19 Challenge: CMO Budgam

BUDGAM, DECEMBER 18: A felicitation ceremony was organized in the DCHC Chanapora facility with CMO Budgam Dr. Tajamul Hussain Khan as Chief Guest and Dr Tehmina Deputy CMO Budgam as Guest of Honor.

The gathering was addressed by Dr Tajamul Hussain Khan where he gave a brief description about the facility and how it was started from scratch with the support of the ACS H&ME, Divisional, District administration and Directorate Health Services (K). He praised present worthy DHSK Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Rather for providing an anesthesia work station in the facility  which was a long pending demand and hoped that other machinery equipment are also made available which are needed to keep the facility up-to-date.

CMO Budgam praised the work of all covid warriors who have been working from July 2020 till date in the facility and felicitated Most of them with certificate as token of appreciation and advised Dr Rehana Liaison officer from local administration to identify and arrange felicitation certificate for all remaining health officials and warriors.

It is pertinent to mention here that DCHC Chanapora has till date admitted 773 patients while as 597 patients stand discharged. The CMO Budgam further hailed the role of the facility amidst Covid-19 challenge and has been able to perform 167 successful LSC Surgeries pertaining to delivery of newborns. The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks by Dr Iqbal Fateh Khan Nodal officer of the facility.
