District administration of Srinagar has been reviewing facilities for pilgrims going to perform Hajj during 2022. There have been a number of review meetings held so that there are complete preparations for their ease.

In this direction recently Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Mohammad visited Hajj House Bemina to take stock of the facilities available for the Pilgrims going to perform upcoming Hajj-2022.

He visited various blocks of the Hajj House and asked the concerned Engineers to take necessary measures to ensure that the dysfunctional DG set is made operational. He also directed the concerned to repair the water supply pipes to plug the leakages, besides ensure proper functioning of all the washrooms in the Hajj facility. He also directed them to undertake necessary renovation works to give a facelift to the building that has been used as Covid-19 Wellness Centre since the outbreak of Covid pandemic.

He asked for beautification and maintenance of the Hajj House premises to enhance the appeal of its surroundings.

He stressed on providing best of the facilities to the pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage to make their stay at Hajj House comfortable.

The government of Jammu and Kashmir has kept the funds ready for the Hajj House including for its infrastructure facilities and the recent review meetings were taken in order to see if something more is to be done for the Hajj House in the coming weeks.
