Jammu and Kashmir administration has recently reviewed progress on hosting data of A&Ts Deptt in J&K Data Centre.
J&K Data is getting upgraded in a big way in which critical data of revenue department and police department is being hosted already and hosting the data of all the treasuries of J&K is a big thing for the IT department.
All security measures are being taken to host data of all departments safely in J&K Data Centre including replication of all data in DR Centre located at Secunderabad and this upgraded Data Center is the backbone of UT administration with the hosting of eOffice and all important data of the Government.
Survey will be conducted for using Lat-Long of 12 treasuries which are in far flung areas of the Union Territory and other 95 treasuries through MPLS Fiber connection in the shortest possible time.
Director General Accounts and Treasuries recently said that under this project, there will be total synchronisation between NIC Softwares, JaKeGA operations and Finance Department for revamping online operations of all treasuries successfully.
Government recently decided that the core technical team shall keep meeting frequently to ensure successful implementation of this upcoming project for the Finance Department.
Under this project, the Data Centre will connect 125 treasuries of the UT through a leased fiber line using MPLS technology. The IT department is picking up in Jammu and Kashmir and there are many projects in their hands so that less and less human interference is visible in the functioning of the administration and it is the only way to weed out the corruption from the administration.
