Healthcare system is under repairs in entire Jammu and Kashmir and the government is trying to bring it on the modern lines especially after the two waves of covid-19.
Recently the State Health Agency approved ninety more unspecified treatments and said that very soon more and more relief would reach those patients who have no income for the treatment.
SHA stressed on suggestions from all stakeholders for incorporation of newer therapies/medicines for treatment of Cancer patients which were not incorporated earlier.
The Committee also suggested allowing clubbing of surgical medical packages in the (TMS) Transaction Management System. Government has the stakeholders and the committee members to submit detailed reports for clubbing medical and surgical packages for onward submission to NHA.
SHA also sought suggestions from all the members regarding inclusion of High-end Antibiotics and lifesaving drugs like immunoglobulins, Albumin etc.
The importance of the Scheme for the people of J&K, government has asked all the members to ensure its success for maximum benefit of the people of J&K.
The government of Jammu and Kashmir recently said that people and the administration will have to get their act together and ensure that people are benefited in a fair and transparent way.
