OGW arrested, arms recovered in Kashmir

 Security forces on Tuesday apprehended an Over Ground Worker (OGW) and recovered arms and ammunition from his possession in frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara.
Official sources said, on a tip off security forces raided the house of one Adil Hussain at Takia Badarkote in Kupwara and during the searches two AK 47 rifles, two magazines and 208 rounds were recovered.
They said on questioning the accused revealed the name of another associate identified as Faraz Ahmad, believed to be the main supplier of the weapons to militants, led to another search operation during which the security forces recovered  four  pistols, five magazines and a packet of contraband substance. However, the accused had already escaped and a hunt has been launched to nab him, the sources added.
