Social Sector Schemes
The government of Jammu and Kashmir is working very hard on the ground to give the benefit of different central schemes to the common people and in this direction recently a review meeting was held by LG Manoj Sinha in Ganderbal to see the progress on the ground.
He said that there is overwhelming progress made in the implementation of various social sector schemes, he complimented the Deputy Commissioner of Ganderbal & her team and directed for 100% saturation of various initiatives and measures taken by the Government so that maximum benefits percolate to the deserving and needy.
He directed all the concerned departments to redouble their efforts and strive for saturation of all Central and UT level social security and welfare schemes, adding that these schemes are launched with the purpose to improve socio-economic condition of the people.
Observing that the infrastructure projects are being completed at a remarkably brisk pace, he instructed officials for furthering pro-active and people-centric governance to bring about a qualitative improvement in the quality of life, and ease of living of people.
Timely implementation is the key to sustainable development. No delay will be acceptable by the J&K administration has been the direction by LG Manoj Sinha to the officers who are overseeing the completion of various projects in Ganderbal district.
Many projects in the past could not be completed within the timeline and it has impacted not only the schemes but also there has been a sharp increase in the cost for the completion of these projects.
