Mehbooba claims J&K administration had prior information about attacks

Former Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti in a series of tweets on Tuesday has claimed that the Jammu and Kashmir administration was having prior information about the attacks on minorities and decided to look the other way.
Similar utterances were made by another Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in the interviews that he was also informed by some local officers that they have reports there would be attacks on the minorities.
Mehbooba Mufti in a series of tweets on Tuesday said, “J&K admin had prior information about attacks on minorities. Yet they chose to ignore these inputs. Instead they were busy providing security to Union Ministers who were brought to Kashmir to amplify BJPs fake narrative & propaganda of so called normalcy in J&K. Not taking responsibility & arresting 700 civilians shows their intention to shift blame & absolve themselves. Collective punishment & humiliation of an entire population has become the one size fits all approach to resolve problems caused due to GOI’s punitive policies”.
