Large crowds in Sunday market of Srinagar, despite rise in covid cases

On Sunday morning large numbers o f people including women and children turn to Sunday market to purchase different items and there were no sops being followed either by the vendors or by the people.

The Srinagar administration has recently decided to go for the lockdown in different areas of Srinagar city including Zadibal, Lal Bazar and other such localities.

District administration of Srinagar has said that they would be forced to go for a lockdown in the entire city if the people will not adhere to sops. But on Sunday in the Polo View area of Srinagar, the authorities have allowed the opening of Sunday market and the gathering of the people in the market can prove to be the super spreader of covid-19.
