Director RDD Kashmir visits Kralpora, Ramhaal blocks of Kupwara district
Asked officers to speed up execution of development works
KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 19: Director, Rural Development Department (RDD), Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar today visited Kralpora and Ramhal blocks of frontier Kupwara district. He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development Kupwara, Mehraj-u-din Shah and other concerned officers.
The Director reviewed the pace of progress in the twin blocks under different flagship programmes including MGNREGA, 14th F.C and Back to Village. He was informed that as many as 300 different works have been taken up in hand which are at different stages of completion. He was further informed that 93000 person days of work have been generated in these blocks.
The Director also reviewed progress of timely payments and AADHAR linkage and was informed that in both the blocks payments and Aadhar linkage is cent percent.
The Director inspected various on-going works in Aloosa, Zunareshi and Kralpora areas and directed the concerned field functionaries to speed up the process of execution and ensure completion of all on-going works within stipulated time frame.
He also held public interactions with PRIs and senior citizens of both the blocks and got feedback regarding the developmental activities carried out in the area.
