CONSOLIDATING GAINS
The government of Jammu and Kashmir has ramped up the vaccination process and have also increased the testing as there have been some increase in the covid positive cases.
In one of the recent review meetings held by LG Manoj Sinha with the covid task force of Jammu and Kashmir which include all the district police and civil heads, he stressed on the alertness and asked the officials to be ready to tackle the spread of infection.
He told his officers that the government needs to consolidate the substantial gains achieved in containing the spread; maintain sustained decline in positivity rate in entire Jammu and Kashmir
He asked the administration including the health department to give top priority to the areas where the new positive cases are being reported.
He directed for clear demarcation of Containment zones at micro-level by district authorities; strict enforcement of Covid protocol.
Civil & Police Administration to enforce Covid Appropriate Behavior in workplaces and in public, especially in crowded places, is the instruction being given by LG Manoj Sinha in every review meeting being presided by him on a weekly basis.
In one of the latest meetings with Covid Task Force, SSPs, he reviewed the Covid response and containment measures of the Districts’ Administrations.
