DC Kupwara chairs DRC meeting
Asks for safeguarding of interest of all stakeholders
KUPWARA, AUGUST 17: The District Registration Committee (DRC) for Registration of Clinical Establishments met here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Imam Din to review the process of registration of clinical establishments in the district.
Addressing the meeting, the DC said that the registration of clinical establishments play a crucial role in securing and safeguarding the interest of various stakeholders including general public and educated youth who earn their livelihood with these establishments.
He stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure strict compliance of the Government guidelines during the registration process of the clinical establishments to safeguard the interest of all stakeholders.
The DC directed the Chief Medical Officer who is also the Convener of the Committee to ensure minimum standards as devised by the Government are adopted by the applicants before issuance of registration certificate to them.
Earlier, the meeting held a threadbare discussion regarding the procedures involved for registration of different Clinical Establishments in the district.
Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Dr. Mehraj-u-din Shah; ASP Handwara, DSP DAR Kupwara, Medical Superintendent District Hospital, DHO, Nodal Officer AYUSH and other concerned attended the meeting.
