LG Manoj Sinha recently asked his administration to run a vibrant campaign on vaccination, Covid Appropriate Behavior, so that after the restrictions are lifted people do not get infected while undergoing the normal activities.
World health organization and scientists have asked the people for covid appropriate behavior which include vaccination and wearing of masks for the people to save themselves from this third possible wave of covid-19 infection.
Different wings of the administration in Jammu and Kashmir have been closely monitoring the situation after they have lifted a lot of restrictions on daily life but they are not lowering the guard.
In this direction the government of Jammu and Kashmir has decided to extend the closure of all educational institutions including the private coaching centers in order to save the young boys and girls from the covid-19 infection as the crowds can result in another wave of covid-19 infection.
Similarly in Srinagar and other districts which are still under partial restrictions, weekend curfew is continuing and it has proved very beneficial for the common people not to get infected.
Covid infection is receding in Jammu and Kashmir and common people are feeling the relief as most of them have started their daily life activities without being restricted.
But if the people of Jammu and Kashmir want normal life post the second wave of pandemic they will have to go for covid appropriate behavior and should not hesitate to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
