The government of Jammu and Kashmir is in the process of engaging youth in a better way so that they become the shining future and also shape up their lives in the process.

In this direction recently LG Manoj Sinha directed for establishing Youth Clubs in every Panchayat across Jammu and Kashmir for constructive activities and addressing all the concerns of the young generation.

In first phase 22,500 Youth from 4290 Panchayats to be engaged in the Youth clubs, with Government incurring expenditure to the tune of Rs.12 Crore for this initiative. These Youth clubs to be the nerve centers for all youth programs community involvement; IEC, Sports & Cultural activities, according to a recent statement by the government.

At panchayat level these youth clubs would be of great help to the village youth to know about different government schemes and also to take part in sports and cultural events.

Most of the hidden talent at the village level remains unused and most of such youth cannot show their skills because they have no outlet or platform.

When these clubs become operational at the panchayat level it will make a huge impact on the minds of young boys and girls and will also help them to know about the different government schemes and programs launched by the government for them.
